Yes, its difficult.

It's difficult to be living far from each other. It gets really lonely, it gets irritating at times to look at lovers so wrapped up into each other's arms, and it really hurts the pocket too! Some do not believe long distance relationships work, some doubt it works, some lived through it and got "traumatized" by it, and I am one of those who believe it will work. For some time yeah, but long distance forever? Well, heck no! We do have plans to finally really shorten the long distance someday!
It will be our third year anniversary this February and that is already a good thing. We have trusted each other, we have tried really hard to shun temptations (which is really one of the hardest thing to do! haha), and we try to just.. hold on. The good thing about long distance relationships is that you really value the time you get to be with each other. No hour, no minute, no second wasted. You get to really value the person you love and miss the most, and one of the "bestest" thing about being far? The meeting at the airport... I'm beyond words describing that moment.. so I'll leave it to your imagination!
